At the Mid-Atlantic Golf Academy, we’re as serious about your golf game as you are. Our co-ed facility for junior golfers ages 8-16 is dedicated to making you the best golfer you can be. That is why we created an academy unlike any other in the game – to provide you with a unique learning experience.
Located in the scenic Shenandoah foothills, just 90 minutes west of Washington’s Dulles International Airport, MAGA is a comprehensive golf academy with a dedicated staff of teaching professionals headed by Jimmy Saenz, the 2011 National Teacher of the Year. Our teaching facilities include a 350-yard range designed and constructed with multiple target greens to specifically to meet the needs of our students. In addition to the range, there are practice bunkers, chipping and pitching areas and multiple practice greens – one of which is lighted, giving students an opportunity to work on their game, even after the sun goes down.
Founded by a family that has owned and operated summer youth camps since 1955, the Mid-Atlantic Golf Academy provides a superior golf instruction program within a wholesome atmosphere. But because MAGA shares some non-golf facilities with the popular Timber Ridge Camp, which has been attracting youths from around the world for more than 60 years, you will be able to enjoy facilities and activities not offered by any other golf school or academy … when you’re not working on your driving, your chipping, your putting and the rest of your golf skills, that is.
